Roc Literacy Mission: a parent-led, community conversation and workshop
In October 2022, a variety of community members and stakeholders met at Chili Public Library to discuss dyslexia. View notes from that discussion here. To continue and expand that conversation, parents/ family members will share what they want their community to know about their family’s struggle with literacy. In small groups, we’ll brainstorm actions we can take as individuals, as organizations, and as a collective to better serve families and children and build a more literate Rochester.
This parent-led discussion is for parents of struggling learners, students, teachers, higher education, adult literacy, school administrators, board of education members, funders, community members, etc.
